DISTRICT 428 SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH
The selection of a new superintendent is one of the most important decisions that confront a board of education. The Board of Education recently solicited input from community members and employees about important qualities of a superintendent.
In the coming weeks, the Board of Education and several interview teams will continue the search process to narrow finalist cadidates. Once a successful candidate is identified and contractual issues are resolved, the candidate will be presented to the full Board of Education of approval.
It is expected that a new Superintendent will be named in June, 2008 or earlier.
THANK YOU VOTERS!
UPCOMING MEETINGS
The next Facilities Planning Committee meeting will be May 28th (revised date) at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education room.
