Board Meeting Highlights 3/4/08

·         Recognized DHS Forensics Team for capturing 10^th place at the 2008 IHSA State Finals!

·         Update on District Security – we’re making great progress!

·         Investigated moving to “paperless” Board meetings

·         Technology Loan Expenditure Update (K-8)

o  Mobile carts: 1 for each level @ our middle schools (6) 1 each @Littlejohn & Cortland - for mobile classrooms (2)

o   TEC Classrooms (throughout K-8 buildings)

o   Professional Development

·         Elementary & middle school fees will remain the same for next year (DHS fees will be discussed at a later meeting).

·         2008-2009 Calendar was discussed.  (Calendar will be approved on 3/18.)
