| Athletic trainers provide a variety of services for the student athletes.
We provide education on nutrition, injuries and injury rehabilitation.
Athletic trainers will evaluate injuries that are brought to their attention
by athletes, and will provide recommendations for treatment. When an athlete
is advised to see a physician an accident report will be completed and
sent to the athletic office (754-2148) for insurance purposes. Please request
from the physician a written diagnosis and a date at which they may return
to play. Have your son/daughter give to the athletic trainer a copy of
the letter. Athletic trainers and coaches legally can not override a physicians
recommendation for return to play. |

If your son/daughter suffers an injury, but has not yet
seen a trainer, you may treat the injury with R-I-C-E.
