Lesson Gallery - Kindergarten Perception

Shiny Shape Sculptures: During Kindergarten's "S", we learned about sculpture and how it is different than drawing. Students constructed these sculptures out of things that all start with the letter "S".

Textures in Clay: Students learned that texture is something that you can feel with your fingertips. We created textures in clay by pressing objects into flat pieces called slabs.

Hand prints: As students started to discuss the five senses in their classroom, we used our senses to investigate how our paint feels on our hands, how it sounds when we mix it or squish it, and what new colors it makes when we mix it.
